I believe that less is more – more satisfying, more meaningful and more enjoyable. Before we moved to Rwanda, we tried to live simply, which translated into a feeble attempt at maintaining a budget of zero. It was unfeasible, exhausting and frustrating. During our ten months in Rwanda, we realized fulfillment in simplicity and learned that it was not necessarily synonymous with scarcity. When we moved back, we wanted to integrate the lessons of our uncluttered East African life. Our singular mission was to intentionally seek a lifestyle where we could use and appreciate the things and time we have. This blog is a peek into what is working, notes from what hasn’t and general ramblings from our search for more fun in a life with less.
