Last weekend and early through the week I was bemoaning the dreary, cold, rainy weather plaguing Houston. I did not want to be cooped up in our house. I wanted to be outside, at the park, or on a walk or pretty much anywhere but inside. On Wednesday, during a pause in my day, I remembered something. Something I would like to remember much sooner. There are a lot of Houstonians that would love to be cooped up in a house when it is rainy and cold outside.
I like perspective. Not to belittle my own frustrations but to keep some context. It reminds me of what is truly important. We’ve got a lot to be grateful for today.
